All major arterials that were affected by construction are now open for traffic.
This project is being constructed in conjunction with the new Spokane County Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SCRWRF) and will take over a year to substantially complete. When finished, pipelines will convey wastewater from two new pump stations to the SCRWRF, located near the Freya Street Bridge and Trent Avenue.
This Spokane County Project is being constructed in City of Spokane Right of Way and within city limits. The City has added some extra paving and drainage features to this Project so some City Street Bond money will be used to finance it. Some City storm water improvements are also being made.
